This blog post will have the good and the bad. Just depends on how you see it really. To start off the "good" part of this, North America will have servers BUT at a minimum, all early backers will have their rewards on and access to ArtCraft servers, and ArtCraft will work with other companies to put Crowfall in certain regions but definitely Asia.
Now the "bad" part. Like I said earlier it just depends on how you see it. If you don't speak or read French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, Turkish, Polish, and Dutch then this just turned sour for you because that is where they are going to try and localize the website, forum, and game. If ArtCraft is definitely not going to work with other countries in your region they may still put up Crowfall servers but by themselves. To do this they will need the number of early backers (people who pledged $30 or more) and then they may put a server somewhere in EU, Asia, Russia, or South America but it really comes down to the number of early backers. Usually you need a player population with an excess of 10,000 in that region to do localized servers for a long period of time.
ArtCraft will currently not go to Europe first as it is a multi-million dollar capital investment to add service there which is money they don't have right now. Why would they even try to work with other companies though? Well as you know the people working at ArtCraft are talented people who have been in this industry for awhile now and have seen multiple MMO services and overseas MMO's do well and poorly. They have learned that a strong well rounded group that is empowered, responsive, localized and high quality service organization to service the community. Also, they will never pick companies that don't believe in the vision of Crowfall but early backers outside North America will have a slight change in their version or Crowfall more or less but you will get your rewards from pledging replicated on your local server.
